Canary on the Catwalk
This is my entry for Project Rooftop's "Canary on the Catwalk" Black Canary redesign contest. I could explain all my design choices, but I'll let it speak for itself. This was particularly difficult to do, because my scanner isn't working, so I had to draw the sketch, take a picture with my cellphone, and then finish it digitally. I'm happy with the results!

Landroid's Basement Avengers.
In the spirit of Marvel's recent teasers, my colleague and studio mate Lan Pitts is doing a fantasy Avengers team on his blog, for which I am providing the art!

Supergirl
It's been a while... I've been busy, things have been hectic. Anyway, as I was working on a larger piece today, I got the inspiration to throw this little pic together.
To preface, I really hate what Supergirl is wearing these days. She looks terrible, and it would be so easy to make her look contemporary and cool without being slutty. I did this little redesign in the interest of actually making her "Supergirl," instead of "Superman-Girl," or "Superskank" or even "Superwoman." I just wanted to keep the Superman influence while moving in a unique direction, and trying to make her look like an actual teenage girl.
